SDGs Implementation Stock take
On 18th and 19th January 2020, UNA Tanzania in partnership with UNA Finland conducted the SDGs Implementation Stock take workshop which took place in Dodoma involving different stakeholders from Tanzania and Finland reflecting on the progresses, opportunities, lessons learned and challenges in order to fully utilize the Decade of Action to achieve the Agenda 2030.
The Stock take workshop involved 57 participants, 28 being female and 29 were male. These participants included Members of Parliament mainly from the Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Development, President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG) officials and Civil Society Organizations representatives from different parts of the country.
The objective of the workshop was to analyze the progress made for the SDGs implementation in Tanzania by the policy makers and different stakeholders and their role and position for the next ten (10) years for achieving the 2030 Agenda as well as, aimed at sharing experiences on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals between Tanzania and Finland and to bring together stakeholders including Members of Parliaments, PORALG and CSOs representative to discuss the first Global Report on SDGs.
